DESCRIPTION:This photography exhibition is hosted by the National Trust at Penrose. \n\n\n\nOn a single day in summer\, one acre of wildflower meadow can contain 3 million flowers\, producing 1kg of nectar sugar. That’s enough to support nearly 96\,000 honeybees per day.  \n\n\n\n97% of species-rich grassland has been lost in the UK since the 1930s\, with the remaining 3% mostly fragmented across the country\, leaving little room for wildlife to spread.  \n\n\n\nExplore how the National Trust and partners are tackling these issues\, through the Coastal Meadows project and the Lizard Rarities Project\, in this photography exhibition.

DESCRIPTION:This event is organised by Lizard National Trust. For full details\, see their website at https://bit.ly/3QATfHL \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome to join us for a wildlife walk at Lizard Point\, taking in the surrounding countryside and dramatic coastline including the Wildlife Watchpoint and the opportunity to spot seals and choughs. The walk is approximately two miles and led by volunteer walk leaders\, offering the opportunity for fresh air and time in nature. Everyone is welcome of all walking experience. The event is free\, and there is no need to book. \n\n\n\nMeet at National Trust Lizard Point car park (near the lighthouse) TR12 7NT. Parking charges apply\, free for NT members.
