Please check their website (https://www.cornwall-butterfly-conservation.org.uk/events.html) and social media for more information\, including contact details; it is important to check the website and social media before an event in case of cancellation or changes\, such as due to weather. \n\n\n\nDougy Wright\, CWT volunteer warden\, will introduce the moths found in the area of Windmill Farm; meet in the Field Studies Centre at the reserve as Dougy opens the traps. \n\n\n\nAfter the moth event there will be a walk through the reserve where we would hope to see late summer butterflies\, including the Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary and Grayling\, and\, around the pools\, dragonflies and damselflies. There is also the chance of seeing Marsh Fritillary larval webs. Meet at the car park by the windmill which is down a lane off the A3083 (SW693152) TR12 7LH; W3W lamp.sparkle.prevented  \n\n\n\nPlease note dogs are not allowed anywhere on this site.. If you want to stay and walk around the reserve\, please bring a packed lunch.

The event is free (normal admission charge applies)\, and booking is not needed. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome to join us for a gentle walk from Degibna car park taking in woodlands and views across Loe Pool as part of our social walk series. This walk is approximately 2.5 miles long and we will finish at Degibna Chapel where hot drinks will be available. This walk will start at Degibna car park information board (TR12 7PR or what3words:///constants.wonderful.hide). \n\n\n\nThe walks are led by volunteer walk leaders and offer the opportunity for anybody to spend time in nature and meet new people. Everyone is welcome\, of all abilities and experience\, and the walk leader will facilitate the walk to ensure everybody feels comfortable.

Please see their website for more details: https://bit.ly/4t73HFj \n\n\n\nMaya is a textiles and installation artist whose work explores the many ways people have connected with nature in the UK\, drawing on cultural\, historical and traditional stories\, as well as more complex relationships with the natural world. For this project\, Maya has gathered\, processed and dyed materials using plants found here\, working closely with our volunteers and rangers to forage and collect natural dyes that have inspired and shaped the finished pieces.
