The event is free and there is no need to book. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome to join us for a gentle walk at Penrose\, as part of our social walk series. This walk starts at Highburrow car park near Porthleven and will take in views across Loe Bar and the surrounding countryside. The walk is approximately 3.5 miles long and will take around 2 hours.  \n\n\n\nThe walks are led by volunteer walk leaders and offer the opportunity for anybody to spend time in nature and meet new people. Everyone is welcome\, of all abilities and experience\, and the walk leader will facilitate the walk to ensure everybody feels comfortable.

SUMMARY:Nature Recovery in Cornwall: Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:This photography exhibition is hosted by the National Trust at Penrose. \n\n\n\nOn a single day in summer\, one acre of wildflower meadow can contain 3 million flowers\, producing 1kg of nectar sugar. That’s enough to support nearly 96\,000 honeybees per day.  \n\n\n\n97% of species-rich grassland has been lost in the UK since the 1930s\, with the remaining 3% mostly fragmented across the country\, leaving little room for wildlife to spread.  \n\n\n\nExplore how the National Trust and partners are tackling these issues\, through the Coastal Meadows project and the Lizard Rarities Project\, in this photography exhibition.
