Please see their website for more details: https://bit.ly/4t73HFj \n\n\n\nMaya is a textiles and installation artist whose work explores the many ways people have connected with nature in the UK\, drawing on cultural\, historical and traditional stories\, as well as more complex relationships with the natural world. For this project\, Maya has gathered\, processed and dyed materials using plants found here\, working closely with our volunteers and rangers to forage and collect natural dyes that have inspired and shaped the finished pieces.

DESCRIPTION:This is an event organised by Wildlife Groundswell. \n\n\n\nWildlife Groundswell will be holding their annual free event for National Meadows Day at Kestle Barton on the afternoon of Saturday 4 July. This year\, as well as enjoying being in the beautiful meadows\, the afternoon will also focus on the ecological role of horses. Jenna Payne (https://jennapayne.co.uk/)\, McTimoney Veterinary Chiropractor\, will be talking about how horses can themselves create rich biodiverse meadows  \n\n\n\nFind out more about the event and book your free tickets on WG’s website. \n\n\n\nTimetable for the afternoon: \n\n\n\n2pm – meet in the marquee at Kestle Barton\, TR12 6HU\, and explore the meadows there. There’s an option to make wildflower meadow seed balls. \n\n\n\n3pm – talk with Jenna Payne\, equine veterinary chiropractor\, about how horses can help to increase wildlife while receiving health benefits themselves. \n\n\n\n3.30pm – walk to Kestle Wartha farm (neighbours of Kestle Barton) for a guided walk around horse-grazed meadows. \n\n\n\n4.30pm – finish.

DESCRIPTION:This event is organised by Lizard National Trust. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome to join us for a social walk starting at Teneriffe Farm Campsite\, taking in the surrounding countryside\, wildlife and dramatic coastline along the south west coast path.
