November 21 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm
This walk is organised by the National Trust.
Step into Cornwall’s dramatic maritime past with a guided walk around Lizard Point, Britain’s most southerly mainland point and a notorious graveyard of ships. This rugged coastline, riddled with savage rocks and hidden coves, has claimed hundreds of vessels over the centuries—from merchant ships to wartime wrecks. As you trace the cliffside paths, your guide will bring to life tales of daring rescues, tragic losses, and the heroic efforts of the lifeboat crews.
