Meadow Day: Meadows, Flowers and Horses

July 4 @ 2:00 pm 4:30 pm

This is an event organised by Wildlife Groundswell.

Wildlife Groundswell will be holding their annual free event for National Meadows Day at Kestle Barton on the afternoon of Saturday 4 July. This year, as well as enjoying being in the beautiful meadows, the afternoon will also focus on the ecological role of horses. Jenna Payne (https://jennapayne.co.uk/), McTimoney Veterinary Chiropractor, will be talking about how horses can themselves create rich biodiverse meadows 🌻🌼🐎

Find out more about the event and book your free tickets on WG’s website.

Timetable for the afternoon:

2pm – meet in the marquee at Kestle Barton, TR12 6HU, and explore the meadows there. There’s an option to make wildflower meadow seed balls.

3pm – talk with Jenna Payne, equine veterinary chiropractor, about how horses can help to increase wildlife while receiving health benefits themselves.

3.30pm – walk to Kestle Wartha farm (neighbours of Kestle Barton) for a guided walk around horse-grazed meadows.

4.30pm – finish.

Free Free event – email to book a free place.
